Facebook overtakes Google; claims King of the Internet

According to Experian Hitwise, Facebook, the social networking giant, overtook Google for the first time for the top searched term in 2010. Facebook was not only the most searched term of the year, but it passed Google as most-visited website in 2010 for the first time and accounted for 8.93 percent of all U.S. visits in 2010 (January – November) .
